HD-CAL girls track takes fourth at home

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL girls track and field team ran at Humboldt on April 26 and then hosted a meet on Friday.

The girls placed fifth at Humboldt and fourth at the Jim Basye Co-Ed meet at home.

In the home meet, Aubryee Showalter placed third in the 200-meter event with a time of 29.24.

Zoe Erdman finished runner-up in the 400, running 1:03.57.

Abigail Drier placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.09.

Teaghan Bird ran 1:15.66 in the 400 hurdles for a second place finish.

In the 3000-meter run, Lydia Maas finished third with a time of 12:28.73.

Charlee Morton won the shot put, throwing 37-0.50.

Morton also won the discus with 114-3.

The 4x400 finished third with a time of 4:31.12.

The shuttle hurdle relay placed second with a time of 1:14.13
