Harvey Rodriguez, 30

Harvey Rodriguez, age 30, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, January 21st, 2023. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Friday, January 27th at the Hampton Gospel Hall with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, January 26th at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 

Harvey was born on April 1, 1992 in Iowa City, Iowa to Refugio and Cecilia Rodriguez. He graduated from Hampton-Dumont High School in 2010. He was a member of the Hampton Gospel Hall. Harvey was known for doing and/or saying anything to get a good laugh in and putting a smile on everyone’s face. He had a passion for fishing and being outdoors. Harvey also loved spending time with his loved ones, especially his daughter (Estella Rodriguez).

Harvey is survived by his daughter Eestella Rodriguez of Hampton, Iowa, parents Refugio and Cecilia Rodriguez of Hampton, Iowa, siblings Juan Rodriguez of Flandreau, South Dakota, Linda Rodriguez of Hampton, Iowa, Jose Rodriguez of Flandreau, South Dakota, Dulce Rodriguez of Hampton, Iowa, and Jasmine Rodriguez of Hampton, Iowa.

Harvey will be missed by his daughter Estella, along with parents, siblings, many nieces/nephews, and all other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa Jose Angel Urbina, aunt Guadalupe Urbina, uncle Roberto Guiterrez, godfather Domingo Rodriguez, grandpa Luis Rodriguez and grandma Juanita Rodriguez.
