Hampton native promoted to Yeoman in US Navy

Ian Fielding, of Hampton, was recently promoted to the rank of Yeoman for his service in the United State’s Navy.
Fielding has been in the Navy for four years and is currently stationed in Portugal, and will be there until about 2019/20. Fielding handles some of the administrative matter that happens on the base on a daily basis. Specifically, he takes care of the correspondence between different commands, who mostly communicate in the form of letters.
Fielding has always wanted to travel the world and serve his country in the process.
