Hampton native part of Waterloo Waterhawk national team to finish 7th

WATERLOO – Hampton native Haley Sorenson recently competed with the Waterloo Waterhawks Division I national waterskiing team to finish seventh in Janesville, Wis.
Among 14 teams to compete, Sorenson was a part of three acts in which the Waterhawks competed.
“That is the second-best the team has ever done,” Sorenson said of finishing seventh. “Four years ago, we got sixth. We were trying to beat that, but didn’t quite get there.”
