A Hampton man is using his talents to give a hand to people as they ready their homes for sale or de-cluttering.
Freddy Rodriguez, of Hampton, and Georgia Knudsen last year started What’s Next? – a service that specializes in sorting, organizing, packing and unpacking, rearranging, cleaning and painting throughout the area.
“We do what people need to do as they downsize their belongings or get ready to move,” he said.
Rodriguez said the idea formed when he and Knudsen worked closely together at ServPro in Mason City. The two wanted to start a business with one another and after a few conversations, determined that this would be a viable, welcomed service because of their experience with packing and arranging.
The service, he said, is mainly geared towards senior citizens as they prepare to move out of their homes into living facilities or are just looking to make their homes more livable. However, anyone needing additional assistance is more than encouraged to give them a call.
