Of course with it being Homecoming week on top of that we had a good week and I think the kids had a lot of fun.” There were multiple runners for the Bulldogs who stood out to Moorehead with how they ran in the two meets. “Conner Miller on Tuesday ran an 18:49 for his season record so that was good,” Moorehead said. “And at Mason City we had our girls’ team finish in third and we had three girls medaled with MacKeny Valley, Jordan Valley and Brooklyn Valley all medaled and that was neat too. On Thursday night, Will Vosburg ran well and he really came out and ran well for us. All the kids are bringing it together and are doing a good job.” The teams’ next meet is on Oct. 3 at Maynes Grove at 4:40 p.m.
