Halie Dombrowski and her dad, Greg, save man’s life at Lake of the Ozarks

    For Hampton’s Halie Dombrowski, a recent vacation to The Lake of the Ozarks was one she will never forget.
    Halie, just a day removed from her 17th birthday, was with her parents Greg and Cori, her sister, Caitlin, and friends, Mario Peña and Logan Gooder.
    They were crossing the lake in their boat just after noon on Sunday, June 12, when the family spotted a drifting boat near the two-mile mark of the Osage Arm in the main channel.
    Nearing the vessel, the boaters saw four women on a pontoon boat waving their hands for help.
