PARKERSBURG – When Dalton Chipp found himself down, he picked himself up to make his way to his first state wrestling meet appearance.

The Hampton-Dumont junior 195-pounder won his first-round match, but found that he had to earn a wrestleback after losing for the first time in three matches in the district final to Clear Lake’s Kade Hambly.

Chipp found himself down in the wrestleback against New Hampton/Turkey Valley’s Max Schwickerath, whom he defeated 3-0 in last week’s sectional final....
