H-D wins back-and-forth game with county rival WF

SHEFFIELD – Like a pendulum moving to and fro, the swing kept moving a different way as the course of the Franklin County rivals Hampton-Dumont and West Fork baseball contest played out.

The final swing went to the Bulldogs in a 9-5 win as they sent 11 to the plate in a five-run sixth inning that started with an error by the Warhawks on Tuesday, June 24.

What helped H-D was a lineup change, according to Bulldogs’ coach Matt Lokenvitz.
