HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont’s boys’ basketball team couldn’t get anything going against Algona on Friday, Jan. 26.

Algona forced numerous turnovers with its pressure and converted on the other end on the way to a 32-14 halftime lead on the way to a 68-34 win.

“We turned the ball over a lot,” H-D coach Heath Walton said. “The press was effective against us. We dribbled into the trap zones often. I’m not sure what we shot for a percentage, but we were never comfortable offensively.”
