H-D senior post out sick, Bulldogs can’t recover

HAMPTON – In a fabled story, a kingdom falls for the want of a nail.
One key component was missing – the nail for a horseshoe – that caused a domino effect that led to downfall.
Senior post player Parker Claypool’s absence wasn’t that dramatic, but Hampton-Dumont’s boys basketball team looked a little lost without him as it couldn’t put anything together in a 67-45 loss to Humboldt on Friday, Jan. 22.
“It makes a difference because for three years he’s been a centerpiece within our chemistry,” H-D head coach Heath Walton said....
