H-D opens against Clear Lake

HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont’s boys’ tennis team nabbed one singles victory and had an outstanding match at No. 1 doubles in an 8-1 team loss to Clear Lake on Thursday, April 12.
The No. 1 doubles team of Augie Bollhagen and Hunter Wilkinson took Mac Adams and Hunter Gerhardt to a third set tiebreak, coming back from a 6-0 loss in the opener, to win 6-3 to force the tiebreak.
Adams and Gerhardt went on to claim the tiebreak at 10-4, however.
