H-D halftime adjustments come up short

HAMPTON — When Hampton-Dumont’s girls’ basketball team realized the game was being called a certain way, the home team made the adjustments necessary at halftime.
But the efforts came up short for coach Miranda Valley’s team in a 58-50 loss to No. 5 ranked Algona, H-D’s third ranked team in a six-game stretch of ranked teams.
“We talked at halftime how we have to be stronger with the basketball,” H-D coach Miranda Valley said.."
