H-D gets by West Fork girls

SHEFFIELD – Just when West Fork coach Rodney Huber thought his West Fork girls’ basketball was going to snap its losing streak against Hampton-Dumont, the Bulldogs found a way to pull this one out, 46-41, on Saturday, Jan. 20.
During the annual Coaches vs. Cancer game, the Warhawks had taken a 41-39 lead with 2 minutes, 3 seconds left, but free throws down the stretch proved to be the difference.
The Bulldogs were 7-of-8 from the free throw line in the final 1:41 and 6-of-6 alone by Courtney Miller in the final 0:33.4 to pull it out.
