Gooder ends career at ECC

IOWA FALLS – With the 72-67 loss to Iowa Central on Tuesday, March 6, in Iowa Falls, Hampton-Dumont graduate Dayton Gooder ended his career with Ellsworth Community College.

When the season started, Gooder was hopeful he could land at a four-year school after his time at ECC was over, but following the completion of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) game, he said that his basketball career is over.

He said his plans were to move to South Dakota, where his family moved within the last few years after he graduated from Hampton-Dumont High School...
