Girls' cross country: First-year trio already looking for more

FORT DODGE – Three different first-time state competitors, three different schools, three different classes.

But one thing Hampton-Dumont’s Patty Teggatz, West Fork’s Talia Rowe and IF-A/AGWSR’s Bethany Lippert have in common is they have that first state experience under their belts and know what to expect in the future.

Teggatz, a freshman, finished outside the top-10 in a race for the first time this season, finishing top-50 right at 50th in 16 minutes, 47.4 seconds.
