Coach Travis Miller’s team went into Tuesday’s Class 1A District 5 game against AGWSR with a 10-9 record after posting a 13-4 win over Hampton-Dumont, which fell to 10-15 overall and lost its last four heading toward its first-round district game.

“I think we’re playing some of our better baseball right now,” coach Miller said. “We started off the year hot, were playing great defense and tonight and the last week and a half started playing that shut-down defense again and our bats are starting to hit the ball around a little bit and so definitely in the right spot at the end of the year.”
