Geneva's Market Returns To Maynes Grove

Antiques, junk and everything in between was up for sale at The Market during their fall event last Friday and Saturday at Maynes Grove. The two-day shopping event brought in hundreds of customers looking for hidden treasures among the vintage antiques and homemade crafts.

     Started last year by Geneva Betterment, The Market has grown considerably from its humble beginnings. The first market event in Geneva did so well that Geneva Betterment decided to make it a bi-annual sale, moving it to Maynes Grove for a spring show earlier this year.

     Last weekend’s fall event marks the third time out for The Market.

     “It grows every time,” said Tonya Sanders, who led the organization of the sale.
