Fresh blood takes over at West Fork

SHEFFIELD – West Fork will start the 2018-19 school year with a new athletic director and head football coach, both of whom have close local ties and looking forward to getting started.
Alex Brayton, a 2009 West Fork graduate, is the new athletic director at West Fork schools and is also director at the West Fork Wellness Center.
“It’s exciting to be coming back to West Fork,” Brayton said. “I never felt like I got away from the community. I followed West Fork athletics closely. My wife and I are both graduates. I never knew if I’d be working for Sheffield, but the opportunity presented itself and I’m happy to be back.”
James Perez, a 2012 graduate of Hampton-Dumont High School will take over as head coach after two years as an assistant under Eric Gabe.
