Franklin General Hospital has moved to Level 3 Visitor Restrictions

Franklin General Hospital has moved to Level 3 Visitor Restrictions due to the uptick in Influenza cases this week. Level 3 Restrictions are put in place for the safety and protection of our patients, as well as the public.

Level 3 Restrictions are as follows:

  ·         Individuals with respiratory or influenza like illness (ILI) are not to visit hospital patients.

·         Pediatric patients may be visited by parents only.

·         Patients in isolation for ILI are limited to visits from significant other and/or parents.

·         Adolescents and children 18 years of age and less are restricted from visiting the hospital (unless they are in the facility for a clinic visit or to receive other services).

·         Recreational walking within the facility is prohibited.

If you have any questions about the increase in Influenza in the area and/or our visitor restrictions, please contact Tonya Root at 641-456-5038.
