Franklin County Relay for Life 2017 to honor cancer patients

Don your capes and pull up your tights, for the community will be in need of some powerful superheroes come this year’s annual Relay for Life.
This year, the Franklin County Relay for Life fundraising event will need help from everyone in the community, to band together and assemble at the West Fork High School Football Field and Track (1475 255th St., Sheffield) to stand up to cancer, at the super hero-themed event.
“In everybody’s eyes, when we were making our decision [on this year’s theme], every cancer survivor is a superhero,” said Franklin County Relay for Life Chair Sheri Bogue. “So we thought that was a perfect fit. That’s what it is about, honoring our survivors, they’re our superheroes.”
