Franklin Chorale to hold annual concert for its 39 season

The Franklin Chorale, under the direction of Mary Lou Semler, Hampton, will present the annual Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m.
The performance will include familiar sacred and secular Christmas selections and a special guest artist, with music for all to enjoy. This marks the 39th season for the Franklin Chorale, which was formed in 1978, by Semler. With auditions held annually, the Chorale rehearses on Thursday evenings.
The purpose of the ensemble has always been the cultivation and performance of fine choral music in the community. This year the Chorale is pleased to welcome James Hammann, an extremely talented organist who holds degrees in church music and organ from Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Michigan.
