A Franklin County Development Association survey regarding life and business in Franklin County was completed this month, with the results serving to “reinforce” what FCDA is depicting with its branding message, said FCDA Director Karen Mitchell.
The survey administered by Newsworks, Leah Daniels, yielded 69 responses for life in Franklin County, and 41 responses for business in Franklin County.
On life in Franklin County, respondents were asked about how they came to live in Franklin County, their top three-to-five favorite attractions in Franklin County and how they would attract friends or family to Franklin County. Overall, 49 percent of respondents said that their family had lived in Franklin County for generations, while the top attractions in the county were: small communities and schools, specialty shops and dining venues and the ability to know a majority of people, to name a few of the 140 responses.
