ANKENY – Playing in the first-ever IHSBCA Senior All-Star all-Small School championship final, West Fork’s Clay Emhoff described the whole weekend experience as something fun he was able to do.

Playing among the state’s best seniors for a final four-game series culminated in the Small School West defeating Emhoff and the Small School East by a 9-5 score on Sunday, Aug. 6 at Ankeny High School baseball field.

“I don’t really think of it as being the best, it’s just something that I’ve done, I got good at and it was time for an end,” Emhoff said, “this is a good way to end it.”
