The young ladies of Franklin County got all dolled up and took their favorite guys out for the evening for the Seventh Annual Father/Daughter Dance on Saturday, April 21.
Run through the H-D school district's success center, the annual dance was dreamed up on an ice fishing trip where Joel Heuer talked with other dads about finding a way to promote good relationships between fathers and their daughters.
Completely self-funded, the dance is organized through the efforts of several volunteers. From Scott and Jane Hoegh volunteering from the H-D success center to Mike and Heather Holm offering DJ services, to the key club organizers and students of the Bulldog Café lending their talents to food and organization.
"We just want to give back and promote something positive in the community," said Heuer.
