Daddies and daughters bond at sixth annual father daughter dance

Fathers and daughters from Hampton-Dumont, CAL and West Fork school districts came together last Saturday at the Franklin County Convention Center to share laughs, food, smiles and moments at the sixth annual father daughter dance. The purpose of the dance is to create an opportunity for fathers and their daughters to interact with each other. Research shows that a fatherly presence in both young girls’ and boys’ lives has effects that extend both into the classroom and social lives.
