Cub Cadet will use portion of CAL building to expand services

The CAL Board of Education and Cub Cadet Daycare Board are ready to move forward with an agreement that would bring part of the daycare’s services to the school.
The two groups earlier this month formed a plan that would allow the daycare to utilize empty space in the school. Robyn Kofoot, with Cub Cadet, said they would likely put older children and the afterschool programs in an available room in the lower elementary wing. The younger children would stay in the daycare building.
The two entities began conversations on an agreement that would allow the daycare to stay in its current building but utilize part of the CAL school to accommodate the daycare’s growing attendance.
The agreement is expected to go into effect at the beginning of the next school year.
