Conservation Board to host open house for public interest

     The Franklin County Conservation Board will hold an open house for the Robinson House at Robinson Park, as part of an initial planning phase for the structure.
     The park was gifted to Franklin County Conservation as part of a will from the Robinson family; the west portion, the house itself, was gifted in 2014. The east portion, the wooded area on the property, was gifted in 2015.
     Ned Parker, natural resource manager II, said that the house itself was “neat” however the property was unkept.
     Parker said that the opinion of the conservation board was that the house is something that the conservation board can work with in the future, but transforming the structure into what cannot be answered until how.
