Chris Janson announced as Thursday Franklin Co. Fair act

Rising country music star Chris Janson will bring his high-energy show to the Franklin County Fair Grandstand on July 19 as part of the Franklin County Fair.
Janson, a self-taught musician, brings a stage show that mixes his fiery, energetic performance style with songs written from his heart that share unique messages.
His songwriting and performances have earned praise from fellow country music performers, including superstars Keith Urban and Vince Gill, who have supported Janson as a candidate for Entertainer of the Year.
His first album, “Buy Me a Boat”, earned Top 5 status. The follow-up, “Everybody” promises to deliver more creativity and surprises, he said.
“With this one, you really get a sense of who I am,” he said in a release. “No one could ever question if it’s real or not, or if I’m really this guy.”
