Calm, collected Bulldogs reach regional final

HAMPTON – A one possession game with a minute to go and stepping to the free throw line for the No. 8 Hampton-Dumont girls’ basketball team, sophomore Nadilee Eiklenborg tried to remain calm.
She made both and the Bulldogs held on against a tough No. 12 LaPorte City, Union squad, 56-49 on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
“Well, I was a little nervous,” Eiklenborg admitted. “I just wanted to step up and do my best.”
