CAL contract sharing, H-D summer projects were main topics on school board agenda

    Sharing staff contracts and summer projects took up the bulk of the time for the Hampton-Dumont Community School Board of Directors at its regular meeting on Monday evening, June 20.
    After approving the existing contracts with CAL, with the exception of the maintenance director, the board turned its attention to future sharing possibilities.
    While no one on the board expressed opposition to additional sharing with CAL, board members did express concerns of those being shared being overly stretched in their duties and not being able to devote the necessary time and attention to both positions.
    Those positions include things such as superintendent, curriculum coordinator, nurse, transportation assistant, food service, Medicaid Billing, and Talented and Gifted.
