CAL board approves construction projects

The CAL school building will undergo some improve-ments over the summer.
Last Tuesday, the CAL Board of Education approved a number of construction pro-jects on the school. The pro-jects total nearly $300,000. Superintendent Todd Lettow said the funding is available and will be taken from the one-cent sales tax and Physi-cal Plant and Equipment Levy dollars.
The main project will be to renovate and convert the front office to an administration office. This would allow all building administrators to be in one central location instead of spread throughout the building as they are currently. The cost of that project was estimated at $171,700.
