LATIMER – Kaylea Rew of CAL has hit a home run already this season.
And it went a lot farther than Tuesday’s shot she smoked down the left field line in the bottom of the seventh inning with her team trailing 7-5.
Momentum-wise, however, it was much bigger.
The homer started a Cadet rally against non-conference foe Northwood-Kensett and led to the winning run coming across on a passed ball in the 8-7 victory.
