CLARKSVILLE – CAL sophomore Kaylea Rew doesn’t even know what got into her.

The Cadets’ outside hitter started serving with her team leading 6-5 in the fourth set of the Class 1A Region 5 opener against Clarksville.

Sixteen serves and two Indians’ timeouts later, Rew had collected nine aces and a 21-6 CAL lead.

“I really don’t know,” Rew said about her serving run. “I was shaking, I thought I was going to miss it every single time because sometimes my serves are in the net or I can even serve it across the country. I’m just that, whew!"
