Cadets play final home volleyball match

LATIMER – Both AGWSR and CAL coaches alike agreed that the playing in the final home volleyball match ever was a sad occasion.
CAL head coach Brittni Miller had a little hitch in her voice when she said so.
“Yeah, it’s really sad,” Miller said.
It wasn’t the way the Cadets wanted to go out but at the end, when the Cougars completed the 25-10, 25-10 sweep of the home team, but the entire crowd gave the teams a standing ovation, all knowing that it was a historic moment.
AGWSR head coach Stacy Drake said she was aware.
“That is what we were telling the girls, ‘make it memorable,’” Drake said...
