Cadets notch first win of the season

LATIMER – The fog may have made it hard to see out of doors, but it was easy to see in the CAL High School gymnasium the outcome of this girls’ basketball contest from the start.

The Cadets got their first victory of the season, leading from start to finish in a 65-42 win over Valley Lutheran out of Cedar Falls on Monday, Dec. 15.

It was a weight off of the shoulders of first-year CAL coach Mike Rapp.

“They’ve worked hard every game,” Rapp said....
