LATIMER – Bri Pals doesn’t even want to be in goal.
In fact, the plan was for her to switch from goalkeeping to playing defense in the second half of CAL/H-D/B-K’s girls’ soccer match against Aplington-Parkersburg on Tuesday, April 19.
But an injury to her replacement, Jasmen Sosa, less than a minute into the 4-0 loss changed those plans.
Pals finished with 34 saves and gave up only one second-half goal as the Cadets fell to 0-4.
