Bulldogs scrimmage for hunger

HAMPTON – The Hampton-Dumont wrestling team held a “Headlock Hunger” scrimmage among its own team on Tuesday, Nov. 20 in front of a good-sized crowd to show up the majority of its 32 wrestlers vying for a varsity spot this season.
Head coach Mike Schimp, who returns to the coaching ranks after approximately a 17-year hiatus, for the most part liked what he saw from his crew.
“I thought we wrestled pretty aggressive, it’s really tough to gauge your kids when they’re wrestling the same guys they do day-in and day-out in the room,” Schimp said...
