HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont felt it could compete with Fort Dodge St. Edmond in its home volleyball match on Thursday, Oct. 9.

It showed after winning the opening set, but after that the Bulldogs couldn’t find the answers in a 26-24, 13-25, 23-25, 15-25 loss to the Gaels.

Jordan Casey had four of her team-high 11 kills, recorded a block and got plenty of help from her sister Emily, who added two more kills; as well as libero Dakota Sliter, who had a pair of back row kills as well as three aces in that opening set.
