HAMPTON – Somewhere in the third set of Hampton-Dumont’s volleyball match against Webster City, momentum was lost.

It was just hard to point to exactly where it turned.

The Bulldogs had a 2-0 set advantage over the previously winless Lynx, but the visitors wouldn’t go away, scrapping and digging out balls they hadn’t earlier against the H-D hitters.

That proved to be the undoing of H-D in the 26-24, 25-22, 18-25, 20-25, 13-15 loss on Thursday, Aug. 31.
