HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont had trouble getting started against Fort Dodge St. Edmond in an eventual 62-31 loss to the Gaels at home on Friday, Dec. 8.
As a result, the Bulldogs trailed 18-2 after the first quarter and 33-15 heading into halftime.
“The first half we came out and weren’t as aggressive, we weren’t as driven,” H-D coach Heath Walton said. “The second half we came out with much more energy, we rebounded the ball better. Offensively, we tried to move and get open shots.”
The full story appears in the Dec. 13 print and online editions of the Hampton Chronicle.
