GARNER – Bulldog senior Jaycob Martzahn remained unbeaten by going 2-0 at the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura wrestling triangular on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Martzahn pinned GHV’s Drew Furst in 2 minutes, 19 seconds and won by forfeit to go to 7-0.

Also finishing the day 2-0 for coach Patrick Hansen’s team were Jack Showalter (113), Jakyb Kapp (120), Carl Barkema (138), Tate Schmitt (152), Braden Hansen (160), Bryan Flores (182), Logan Walker (195) and Alex Koch (285). Andyn Showalter also went 1-0, winning by forfeit at 126 against Rockford.

Winning all but one of the five contested matched against Rockford, coach Patrick Hansen’s team defeated the Warriors 66-6. They also claimed the 57-18 win over GHV.

The Bulldogs had a quadrangular at Sheffield earlier this week before finishing up the first half of the season at the Roland-Story tournament on Saturday, Dec. 21.
