Bulldogs blanked at Iowa Falls

IOWA FALLS – A couple of Hampton-Dumont’s regular starters were out of the lineup for different reasons in a 9-0 boys’ tennis loss at Iowa Falls-Alden’s Assembly Park on Tuesday, April 17.
The match was a make-up of a postponement, but the weather wasn’t much better for this as the temperatures hovered in the upper-30s.
“A very chilly day for the second match of the season,” H-D head coach Jim Davies said. “Missing two varsity starters due to a college visit and illness. Freshmen (Cole) Walker and (David) Whipple played varsity for the first time.”
