Bulldogs 3-0 despite another key injury

HAMPTON – Next man in.

The No. 7-ranked Hampton-Dumont football team dominated in every facet of the game but faced losing another starting lineman to injury in a 49-8 non-district win over South Hardin on Friday, Sept. 12 in its first home game.

“It was a good win for us because they are a good football team,” Hampton-Dumont head coach Jerry Shafrath said. “It seemed like a lot closer game than what it was. They came out in that possession where they went down and scored to make it 14-8, we thought we had a tough game coming...."
