MASON CITY – Area graduates of Hampton-Dumont and West Fork made their mark on the annual Konigsmark Klassic held last weekend hosted by NIACC.
Both H-D grads, Dayton Gooder for the Ellsworth Community College men, and Jordan Prantner, for the NIACC women, earned starts for the first game of their sophomore seasons.
West Fork graduate Gunnar Myers saw some key minutes in the second half of Friday’s opener for the NIACC men in a win in the Trojans’ opener as well.
Gooder saw limited action last year, but put in the work to earn the starting nod this year.
