Area earns all-state softball honors

DES MOINES – AGWSR earned a pair of Class 1A first team all-state honorees by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association, announced late last week.
Senior pitcher Taryan Barrick and sophomore infielder MaKenna Kuper were the two for the Cougars who were voted first team all-state by the IGCA.
Barrick missed part of the season after suffering an off-season knee injury and had to undergo surgery.
