AGWSR pulls out victory at Hampton

HAMPTON – Both Hampton-Dumont and AGWSR brought out relatively brand-new teams on varsity during the opener at Hampton on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

The Cougars and Bulldogs basically have just one starter each back from the 2016-17 campaign and it showed with AGWSR pulling out a 36-31 victory.

AGWSR survived poor shooting early to emerge with the win.

 “You had to like with so many new kids on the floor, you had to like that they were taking those shots,” AGWSR coach Russ Banzhaf said...
