AGWSR defense secures Class 1A region opening rout of Indians

CLARKSVILLE – Stifling defensive pressure by AGWSR put a quick end to this Class 1A Region 3 girls’ basketball opener against Clarksville.
The Cougars defense forced wild shots and turnovers by the Indians in a decisive 63-21 victory on Thursday, Feb. 12.
“We’ve just really been working hard on getting our defense going,” AGWSR head coach Laurie Gann said, “and let that make the offense, and for the most part the last couple of games, we’ve been doing a better job of not fouling as much...."
